Creative Writing focuses on learning and practicing techniques to help the beginning and intermediate writer create poetry, fiction, memoirs, sketches, and essays. The writer will develop a selected number of pieces to polish and "publish" asfinal projects. Attention is given to the development of critical judgment and individual interest. This course fulfills the second semester of the English requirement. (Prerequisite: ENGL 1001)
