(4 credits) This course will cover the use of deadly force. Minnesota statutes pertaining to the use of deadly force, firearms safety, shooting principles, and the care and cleaning of firearms. The course will familiarize the student with the Glock pistol, Remington 870 shotgun, AR-15 rifle, and less lethal options. The course will challenge the student's judgment and develop skills to deal with deadly force situations. (Prerequisite: LAWE 2050)
