1 credit (Spring Semester) This course introduces basic blueprints typically employed in building construction and then orients on the specific plumbing drawings and overlays. This course includes iso-metric and oblique pictorial drawings, orthographic draw-ings, and schematic overlays. Fixtures, assembly, and cut-away symbols will also be covered. The history of plumbing from ancient to modern times will be explored. This course also examines professional practices, career opportunities and basic job safety.Basic plumbing math and measuring are also studied.
