1 credit (Fall and Spring Semesters) Prerequisite: doctor's approval if necessary. This course will provide women with a well-rounded fitness routine designed to meet the special needs of women. Phase I will cover nutritional guidelines and information; Phase II will cover aerobic conditioning including the use of various aero-bic machines; Phase III will cover resistance training including the use of machines and free weight instruction for those that are interested; Phase IV will introduce stretching. Students receiving financial aid or veterans benefits should check with the Financial Aid Office before repeating this course.
