Scientific investigation into topics relative to the discipline done on an individual basis and under the supervision of a full-time faculty member. May involve extensive reading, development of research techniques and skills and experi-mental work. Students must submit a proposal of their study. The proposal must be approved by the supervising instructor and the Division Chairperson.
