4 credits (Intermittently) Commercial Truck Driving will assist students in gaining a working knowledge of information needed to obtain a Class "A" CDL learners permit through classroom instruc-tion. The class also includes simulator and backing practice, shop time, and the driving experience necessary to pass the pre-trip, skills, and driving exam for the Montana Class "A" CDL. The lab exercises are designed to provide students with the driving skills in a working environment. Loading and dumping trucks, load procedures and practices, and transport of heavy equipment are emphasized in prepara-tion for an entry-level job in "truck driving
