3 credits (Intermittently) Prerequisites: IT 131, IT 132 or instructor's consent. This course covers the principles of motor control funda-mentals. Overload protection of motors, reversing and non-reversing starters, design of control schematics wiring diagrams, use of relays, timers, counters and other control devices used in the control of electric motors. Application of programmable controllers to control electric motors.
