1 credit (Fall and Spring Semesters) Prerequisite: OT 100. An introduction to computers and their capabilities for those people with no prior experience. A straight forward hands-on approach to provide people with basic skills to pursue addition-al computer courses. Basic concepts of word processing, spread-sheets, database, and presentation software are presented. CMP A 126T Networking Fundamentals 4 credits (Intermittently 2008/2010) Prerequisites: CMPA 100T or instructor's consent. This course is an introduction to networking fundamentals with both lecture and hands-on activities. Topics include the OSI model and industry standards, network topologies, IP ad-dressing (including subnet masks), and basic network design.
