The world of retailing is constantly evolving and there is increased competition for consumers, employees, products, and resources. With the retail sector providing one out of every five jobs in today' s economy retailing is a very impor-tant part of the business world, a part every business stu-dent should comprehend and understand. In a methodical and organized fashion this class gives the students a broad scope of the retail industry. It will explore issues that are faced by individuals at all levels of the retail organization.
