PREREQUISITE: Satisfactory placement scores. COREQUISITE: AVT 111. This course provides students with hands-on laboratory exercises to analyze direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) circuits. Use of a scientific calculator and the operation of common test equipment used to analyze and troubleshoot DC and AC circuits to prove the theories featured in AVT 111 are emphasized. Upon completion students should know how to use a calculator to analyze circuits and be able to use test equipment to make voltage, current, and resistance measurement in DC and AC circuits.
