4 Semester Hours Prerequisite: BIO 124 ; Laboratory Course: 3 hours lecture, 2 hours laboratory work each week. A continuation of BIO 124, Human Anatomy and Physiology I, that examines six major systems including human growth and development and genetics. Includes the structure and functions of the circulatory, lymphatic, digestive, respiratory, urinary, and reproductive systems. The course is designed to emphasize the complimentary nature of structure and function, homeostasis and environment, metabolic processes, responses stress, and pathological disorders, so that students will have a better understanding of the human body relevant to health.
