4 Semester Hours Prerequisite: RDG 090, ENL 099 OR minimum acceptable test scores for placement in college-level English and reading. Laboratory Course: 3 hours lecture, 2 hours laboratory work each week. An anatomy-physiology course that examines the general plan of body cells, tissues, and six major systems. Includes the function of integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, somatic and special senses, and the endocrine systems. A laboratory course designed to unify basic concepts of inorganic and organic chemistry to bring about a better understanding of the structure and function of the human body as relevant to health care.
