3 Semester Hours This course is an introduction to analyzing financial statements. Students in this course will learn how to interpret and use balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement to value and analyze firms. By the end of the course, students will have a better understanding of profitability, ratio analysis, accounting-based equity valuation, market impact of accounting choices, earnings quality, earnings management, and cash flow analysis.
