3 Semester Hours Prerequisite: BIO 125, BIO 127, and NU 206 with a grade of "C" or better. Pharmacology for Allied Health students or professionals is a sixteen (16) week course designed to help the student or health professional develop an understanding of basic pharmacological concepts, drug action, and clinical application. As drug therapy is an integral part of health care, allied health students/professionals have a vital role in drug therapy and observation of drug effects.
