4 Semester Hours Prerequisite: MTH 123, MTH 123 waived for ACT math score of 20 or higher. A Laboratory Course: 3 hours in the classroom and 2 hours lab work each week. Intended primarily for science majors, this course covers the properties of matter and their measurement, atomic theory, reaction stoichiometry, and thermochemistry. Electron configurations, chemical bonding, and molecular geometry will also be introduced.
