4 Semester Hours Prerequisite: RDG 090, ENL 099, MTH 090, MTH 095/MTH 096 or MTH 099 OR minimum acceptable test scores for placement in college-level math, reading and English and an acceptable writing sample. A Laboratory Course: 3 hours lecture and 2 hours laboratory work each week. This course will introduce and explore the basic principles of ecology. An overview and comparison of vertebrate organ systems will be presented. The course will also survey the taxonomy and organization of the plant and animal kingdoms.
