2 credits Offered upon request Prerequisite: COS 101 or concurrent enrollment in COS 101 Continuation of Cosmetology Theory at an intermediate level. Basic manipulative skills in manicuring, professional image and conduct and personal hygiene. Includes basic sciences in bacteriology, sanitation and physiology pertaining to the head, face, hands and arms. Theory and use of electricity and light as applied to cosmetology. The course also includes ethics and shop management.
