6 credits Offered upon request This course is designed to provide knowledge and skills necessary for a home health aide to work as part of the home health care team. The focus is on basic human needs, communications, working with ill persons, eldercare, nutrition, special diets, and home management. In addition to classroom instruction, a supervised field practice in client's homes or an adult care home for the total of 90 hours is required.
