3 credits Offered every spring semester This course covers the philosophy of legal sanctions and historical development from the common law to modern criminal law, classifications of crimes, elements of and parties to crimes, general definitions of crime, common defenses utilized, and includes specific offenses and the essential elements of each offense. Special emphasis is given to the Arizona Revised Statutes Title 13 Criminal Law.
