(Prereq-uisite: Prior to enrollment in this course, students will be required to key straight-copy material at a minimum of 35 GWPM on a 5-minute timed writing, with a maximum of 1 error per minute OR successfully com-plete Introduction to Keyboarding (BOT-1013). This course focuses on improving keyboarding techniques using the touch method and on pro-duction of documents using word processing functions. Two hours lec-ture. Two hours lab. Three semester hours credit.
