(3.0 hours) The Network I course is designed to provide students with classroom and laboratory experience in current and emerging networking technology that will empower them to enter employment or further education and training in the computer networking fi eld. Instruction includes, but is not limited to, networking, network terminology and protocols, network standards, local area networks (LANs), Open System Interconnection (OSI) model, cabling, cabling tools, routers, network devices, Ethernet, and Internet Protocol (IP) addressing.
