(3.0 hours) This laboratory course will consist of current techniques employed in biotechnology. Topics can include, but are not limited to, specialized techniques from biomedical, environmental, agricultural, pharmaceutical, microbiological, bioinformatics, and/or bioethical aspects of biotechnology. Guest faculty from biotechnology industry and research may be employed as coteachers. Two one-hour lectures and two three-hour laboratory sessions per week. Prerequisites: BY 2102/2113 and BY 2202/2213
