Special emphasis is given to fi nancial instruments, markets and institutions, the Federal Reserve System and monetary policy. The course stresses the impact of monetary policy on the economy and on the operation of fi nancial institutions. The course is intended to be the fi rst course in fi nance. Prerequisite: None
