(3.0 hours) An introductory course designed to cover the basic theory and applied application of the heat pump system. Students will gain a working knowledge and develop skills in the area of load calculations, (heat gain, heat loss) balance points of systems, installation and application, and methods of control of the equipment by different manufacturers. Servicing and trouble- shooting the various heat pump systems will be dealt with. Prerequisite: None
