This course provides the fundamentals of spatial analysis and modeling in GIS and a survey of quantitative techniques applicable to spatial data. Concepts of spatial modeling is covered and students learn how to use various modeling techniques available for solving complex environmental and management problems. Students use statistical models in the process of spatial analysis. Prerequisite: MTH 1053 (Grade > C) of appropriate placement test score and GIS 1003 and GIS 1303 or permission
