(3 Credit Hours) The purpose of this course is to provide the students with an understanding of the maintenance requirements, procedures, and safety precautions in inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining the following industrial machines and their components: Coupling equipment; bearings, bushings, shafts and their components; v-belts and their components; belt drive, tension and idler rollers, gears and gear box and components; brakes, clutches and their components.
