(1 Credit Hour) The laboratory will be based upon a hands-on approach emphasizing "How do we know?" type of experiments and exercises.Emphasis placed on terminology and concepts. The purpose of this course is to help students get a better understanding of the Earth through the use of geological tools, information, and methods. Students will learn the process aspect of science by observing, collecting data and interpreting the data to produce information. Two contact hours, one credit hour.
