(3 Credit Hours) The Electric Maintainers Course is a survey course designed to provide the student with a basic knowledge of direct current and alternating current electricity, electrical safety, alternating current control equipment and motor operations. Information is presented with the specific intent to gain knowledge to build troubleshooting skills. Although there are no prerequisites for this course, the student should be familiar with work in the industrial-electrical trades or discuss his situation with the instructor for approval to take the course.
