(1 Credit Hour) This course will examine the differences between the paraeducator and teacher roles and the foundations for these roles. The student will be able to identify duties he/she may or may not perform as a para-educator. The student will also have an opportunity to evaluate the components of a job description. A role clarification activity will allow examination of the para and the teacher's perceptions of role assignments.
