(5 Credit Hours) This is an in-depth study of wastewater treatment processes and how to control them. The student will study activated sludge, trickling filters, waste stabilization ponds and other treatment processes. The course will cover the laboratory tests needed to efficiently operate a plant and how to interpret results. The student will develop math skills necessary to operate and troubleshoot wastewater treatment processes.
