(3 Credit Hours) This is a basic course in composition with special emphasis on writing correct sentences and paragraphs and on combining paragraphs into a unified essay. It is designed for students whose prior writing experience has not sufficiently prepared them for ENG 102. Ordinarily, students will be placed in the course with an appropriate score on the placement test or ACT. The course is also available upon request of the student. The course will not substitute for ENG 102 or ENG 103 requirements. This course meets five hours a week. F, S
