(6 Credit Hours) The Emergency Medical Training course is designed for students interested in providing care to patients in the pre-hospital setting. The course will provide the student with opportunities to gain information, skills and attitudes necessary for the certification and practice as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in the state of Kansas. The course addresses information and techniques currently considered to be the responsibilities of the EMT according to the U. S. Department of Transportation, National Standard Curriculum and the Kansas Statutes Authorized Activities for EMT. F
