(3 Credit Hours) This course is the second course in the Cisco Systems Cisco Networking Academy curriculum and provides a hands-on task-driven approach to learning the fundamental concepts and skills of Cisco networking. Throughout the course the student works through tutorials and realistic case studies. In this way the student is exposed to situations similar to those one might encounter in the workplace This is a continuation of networking terminology, plus the installation, use and configuration of Cisco router. Hands-on work will include working with actual Cisco switches and routers. Much independent work is required. The on line textbook is designed to facilitate this self-teaching.
