(3 Credit Hours) The purpose of the Directed Studies for Para-professionals course is to provide student special education para-professionals with the opportunity to observe and participate in the role of the para-professional in various employment set tings. Students will also be provided with the opportunity to practice various methodologies, behavior management techniques, teaching techniques and other job responsibilities of the para-professional. The purpose of the seminar section is to reinforce and help the student gain the most information about their practicum experience. D
