Emphasis is placed on establishing the credit, obtaining and checking information, servicing the loan and collecting the amounts due. Each phase of a bank's installment credit operations should be carefully scrutinized to be certain that the most efficient methods are employed, for only through an efficient operation can a bank maximize its profits on this particular kind of credit. Other topics discussed are inventory financing, special loan programs, business development, advertising and the public relations aspect of installment lending. D
