(3 Credit Hours) Because the bank's need for primary reserves and loanable funds limit the funds available for investment, this course describes the nature of such funds and how their uses are determined. It also analyzes the primary and secondary reserve needs of commercial banks, the sources of reserves and their random and cyclic fluctuations, showing the influence of these factors on investment policy.
