(3 Credit Hours) A course designed to investigate electrical/electronic systems and components, including various test procedures and equipment. Emphasis is placed on the evolution of the ignition systems from point and condensers to today's computerized electronic control. Included is a study of Ohm's Law and basic electricity. Testing procedures used in charging, starting, and accessory systems are discussed to prepare the learner for the laboratory (shop) course.
