(8 Credit Hours) This course is available to previously licensed RNs and RNs who have not been actively working in the clinical area. The course reviews the concepts, theories, and skills required to successfully practice as a registered nurse. Included are nursing standards, legal aspects, communication skills, basic human needs, principles of growth and development, and nursing process. Care of persons with common recurring health problems is addressed. The refresher course consists of 60 theory hours and 180 supervised clinical hours. D
