(3 Credit Hours) This course seeks to widen a student's perspective and cultural understanding through on-site observation, participation, and face-to-face interaction with persons from different cultural backgrounds. This course is organized around an experiential model of learning that emphasizes personal and intellectual enrichment through first-hand experience. This course offers students the opportunity to learn outside of the classroom, experience a variety of different cultural milieus, and reflect upon the nature of one's own cultural background.
