This multidisciplinary course is designed for students who wish to develop academic and practical abilities to effectively function in pediatric disasters. This course is designed primarily for certified EMS providers though other healthcare workers could benefit from this class. Students from other disciplines (communications and theater) will enroll in a different class that addresses their roles. A capstone simulated pediatric disaster for all students (communications, theater, and EMS) will be conducted followed by a debriefing session.
