Class 3. Prerequisite: Acceptance into the Career Ladder program, must be taken concurrently with NURS 1132 Math for Nurses. This course is especially designed to provide career mobility for the eligible licensed practical nurse and licensed paramedic. The course provides an introduction to the nursing process with a focus on man's adaptation to meet his basic needs. Skills in interpersonal relationships will be developed with special emphasis on nursing process, communications, values clarification and role change.
