3 CR. An opportunity for students to master basic mathematical concepts and processes. Topics include a complete study of arithmetic and elementary algebra: fractions, decimals, percentages, whole numbers, and integers; and the arithmetic operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Credits earned in this course do not apply toward graduation. Students must take a math assessment for placement purposes prior to registration.
