1 CR. This course introduces students to the techniques of a 15-minute chair massage, a style of structured bodywork with clothed clients and a specialized massage chair. Students will review palpation skills and identification of bony landmarks and muscles. Use of body mechanics to reduce strain on the therapist is emphasized. Prerequisites: Human Anatomy & Physiology I and Swedish Massage.
