3 CR. An exploration of the meaning of mythology and the evolution of mythical thought from an interdisciplinary standpoint. Consideration will be given to mythology as an explanation of the way the world is ordered and how human beings respond to that order. Students will explore a diverse range of myths from cultures around the world and examine the relevance of myths in our daily lives.
