3 CR. This course provides a practical, hands-on introduction and survey of entrepreneurial concepts and elements required for successful small business start-up. Students will be exposed to entrepreneurship as an alternative business career track and will learn about new venture start-up, personal traits which enhance success, the concept of risk, and the need for planning, research, financing, competitive advantage, and effective feasibility evaluation from a founder's perspective.
