3 CR. This course explains the structure and function of the human body from a Western model of human anatomy and physiology. The course examines in detail the basic principles of biomechanics and kinesiology that sustain anatomical and physiological balance in relation to the practice of massage therapy and bodywork. Students must be enrolled in the Massage Therapy & Bodywork program. Prerequisites: Introduction to Massage Therapy & Bodywork and Human Anatomy & Physiology II.
