3 CR. This course presents an overview of hydrotherapy including the philosophy, history, theory, and development. Course topics will incorporate the general effects and therapeutic uses of hot and cold water and ice, client assessment, indications and contraindications for use, and the application of various hydrotherapy modalities. Students must be enrolled in the Massage Therapy & Bodywork program. Prerequisites: Introduction to Massage Therapy & Bodywork and Human Anatomy & Physiology I.
