4 Credit hours 60 Contact hours Includes a brief review of intermediate algebra, equations and inequalities, functions and their graphs, exponential and logarithmic functions, linear and non-linear systems, selection of topics from among graphing of the conic sections, introduction to sequences and series, permutations and combinations, the binomial theorem, and theory of equations. Graphing calculator required. Prerequisite: Successful completion of MAT 106 (grade C or higher) or equivalent or equivalent assessment scores (EA: 85+, ACT Math: 23+, SAT Math: 513+). MAT 111 is a co-requisite or prerequisite. Course Note: This is a statewide guaranteed transfer course.
