3 Credit hours 45 Contact hours Through a study of the visual arts, literature, music, and philosophy, this course introduces students to the history of ideas that have defined cultures. Emphasizes connections among the arts, values, and diverse cultures, including European and non- European, from the Ancient world to 1000 C.E. Prerequisite: Successful completion of ENG 060 (grade C or higher) or equivalent assessment score. Course Note: This is a statewide guaranteed transfer course.
