4 Credit hours 90 Contact hours Studies the physical and biological development of the earth through the vast span of geologic time. Emphasizes the investigation and interpretation of sedimentary rocks, the record of ancient environments, fossil life forms, and physical events, all within the framework of shifting crustal plates. Includes laboratory experience. Recommended Prerequisite: Successful completion of GEY 111 (grade C or higher) or permission of Instructor.
